In 2012 Taekwondo Queensland will continue to develop the planned and evolving State Training and High Performance Squads.

2010 saw TQ initiating what is now known as the ‘Taekwondo Queensland Participation and Representation Policy’. This policy outlines the processes and requirements for sparring and technical teams to represent the State.  It defines how the High Performance Squad is selected, the Team Queensland Development Squad and Nationals Squad. This policy can be found below and all athletes considering competition participation at State level should be familiar with this document.

The High Performance team consists of players TQ feels can reach a higher level with more training and experience obtained from a higher standard of training and tournaments with experiences as defined within the policy. 

The policy outlines that TQ will present travel opportunities to the members of Team Queensland such as Interstate and International events and details of the Team trips appear in the State Calendar.
