AGM NOTICE

Attached is notice of AGM, including position nomination form, along with the draft of the proposed constitution for your consideration at the meeting. Also attached is a constitutional comparison document.

NATIONAL BOARD VOTING

Nominations for National Board positions close on September 18 and it is proposed that, following the AGM on 3 October, there will be a discussion regarding the National Board candidates so that our State Delegate, Darryl Green may gauge the opinion of the state and obtain a direction in regard to the Qld vote to be cast at the TA AGM.

NATIONALS

TQ is currently trying to finalise the referees and technical judges for Nationals in Canberra in October. Chris and Kerry have been speaking to people at competitions about this for a while and some have already indicated an interest in attending. If any referees and/or technical judges are interested in attending for that purpose (which will include appropriate funding) please contact Chris Blight (for technical judges) or Kerry Manning (for referees) as soon as possible so that appropriate arrangements can be made. Accommodation for officials is in single rooms at the AIS or a subsidy is available at the location of your choice if you want to stay with your club, friends, family. TA has prepared a paper outlining these arrangements and listing the maximum airfare refunds available. This will be circulated shortly so please ask when expressing your interest. Preference for referees will be given to levels 1, 2 and 3. Non-funded referees are welcome to attend to gain experience but this will be at your own cost and you should contact Kerry to discuss this if this applies to you or your students.
